ROBERT W. MOODY
Robert Moody, Jr. is President Ground Works Florida and oversees all business management and operations functions. He is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient and quality delivery of the Ground Works’ products and services to its customers.
With over 33 years of experience in the civil, environmental and transportation construction industry, Mr. Moody brings a unique perspective to the application of subsurface polyurethane grout in mitigating failed construction features. He has managed a wide spectrum of contracts and projects with disciplines ranging from civil construction to transportation and underground utility infrastructure. He has served in consulting and contracting roles to numerous governmental, commercial and private clients. He also has vast experience in financial, project and quality management as well as occupational safety and environmental compliance.
Mr. Moody is registered by the Project Management Institute, an international organization dedicated to setting benchmark standards for project managers as a Project Management Professional (PMP®). He is also licensed as a General Contractor, Building Contractor, Pollutant Storage System Contract and Underground Utility Contractor in numerous states including Florida.
In 2007 he was appointed by Florida Governor Charlie Crist as a board member to the Department of Business & Professional Regulation – Construction Industry Licensing Board, the professional entity that regulates all construction contractors and businesses in Florida. He was reappointed to this position by Governor Rick Scott in 2011 to serve another term through 2015. In this capacity he serves on many committees which conduct official State business pertaining to regulation of the profession. Mr. Moody’s appointment was confirmed by the Florida Senate and he continues to serve in this role.
