URETEK Holdings, Inc., a foundation stabilization company, is pleased to announce the selection of Cory Carlson as President of Sales.

As President of Sales, Mr. Carlson will oversee sales and business development activities of the 31 state territories that URETEK Holdings operates within. Cory will be responsible for building upon the existing business development structure and will help guide and train URETEK’s sales teams to further develop their respective territories and customer base.

Prior to joining URETEK Holdings, Inc., Mr. Carlson worked with Contech Engineered Solutions since 2003. The 100 year old West Chester, OH based company provides bridge, drainage, erosion control, retaining wall, sanitary sewer, stormwater and wastewater treatment on a national scale. Mr. Carlson worked his way up through the sales and project management side of the company from sales engineer to regional sales manager to detention and rolled goods product manager and then to area vice president for the eastern US for the stormwater segment. Prior to Contech, Mr. Carlson worked as a civil engineer and sales engineer for Burns & McDonnell in Kansas City, MO.

Mr. Carlson has been leading teams for fifteen years in the civil construction industry, helping develop and sell solutions that require a high level of technical detail and design. “URETEK Holdings has substantial growth opportunities in the civil construction industry, from emergency repair to foundation and infrastructure stabilization to environmental containment,” states Mr. Carlson. “The construction industry is continually looking for innovative and cost-effective solutions to provide to customers. URETEK is constantly improving on applications of its structural polymer in ways that will change the current methods in which civil construction is being conducted. I look forward to helping them expand their footprint.”

“The products and customer base Cory previously worked with is similar to URETEK’s in a variety of capacities. He has achieved measurable success at his prior companies and we look forward to replicating his prior successes and welcoming him to our team,” notes Kathleen Shanahan, Chair and CEO of URETEK Holdings.

URETEK Holdings was assisted by Spectrum Search Partners in the addition of Mr. Carlson to their leadership team.

URETEK’s proprietary polymer formulations are used in a wide variety of applications, including slab lifting and underground void filling, storm/waste drain restoration, soil erosion control, emergency infrastructure restoration (dams, spillways, and levees), and culvert, pipe, and manhole sealing.
