URETEK Holdings, Inc. Welcomes Back New Chief Operating Officer, Promotes Existing Team Members, Hires Online Business Development Manager and Builds on Existing Partnerships

URETEK Holdings is pleased to announce the rejoining of Richard T. Kelecy to the URETEK Holdings team as Chief Operating Officer, the promotions of Bob Moody to President of Florida and David Emfinger to Vice President of Business Development, the hiring of Robert Armstead as Online Marketing and Business Development Manager, and the advancement of its partnership with the Carol Group.

Recently, on June 20, 2013, URETEK Holdings announced the acquisition of 23 new state territories, increasing its total footprint to 31 states throughout the United States.

Richard T. Kelecy rejoins URETEK holdings as Chief Operating Officer, bringing with him over 36 years of broad financial, industry, business and operational related experience. Mr. Kelecy has worked with companies of various scopes and sizes, from a $15 million private family owned company to a $1.2 billion publicly traded company. Mr. Kelecy has helped in building multiple companies with double digit growth during his tenure, such as helping WRScompass grow from $65 million to $200 million in value and doubling Qualawash Holdings valuation during his tenure.

Mr. Kelecy’s principal duties will be to further develop, build, and lead URETEK Holdings’ internal infrastructure, and to help develop core operational systems for managing growth while maintaining the Company’s high standards of quality and safety. He will work with existing leadership to translate strategy, budgets, and forecasts into detailed execution plans, coordinating all levels, and help secure and grow current company performance.

Bob Moody is being promoted from Chief Operating Officer to President of Florida for URETEK Holdings. Mr. Moody has been with URETEK Holdings since Florida was only one location; the company now operates in 31 states. Mr. Moody has over 30 years of experience in the civil, environmental, and transportation construction industry. He serves in leadership positions in the public sector as well, recently being confirmed by the Florida Senate as a member of the Construction Industry Licensing Board where he currently serves as Chairman.

In this new role with URETEK Holdings, Mr. Moody will be in charge of the URETEK Florida team as it continues to advance its brand and market position in infrastructure and foundation stabilization solutions. In the past year, Mr. Moody has been responsible for major contract opportunities for URETEK, including a 2-Year Statewide “Shallow Subsurface Polyurethane Injection Project” Services and Performance Contract with the Florida Department of Transportation.

David Emfinger is being promoted to Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Emfinger previously coordinated the URETEK Holdings business development team in seven states. In his new role, and with URETEK Holding’s recent expansion, David will manage the business development team for 30 states. Mr. Emfinger’s history with URETEK Holdings and his prior experience, which includes 12 years of commercial construction and extensive senior project management, will guide him as he continues to develop and grow the technical sales team.

Robert Armstead has been hired as Online Marketing and Business Development Manager. Mr. Armstead has been consulting with URETEK Holdings for over a year, advising on marketing strategies and expanding its online brand and footprint. Mr .Armstead has been working with firms in the civil construction and environmental remediation industry for over five years. He has been published in the Remediation Journal, is a Senior Advisor to the University of South Florida Patel College of Global Sustainability and has an extensive background in sustainability and nonprofit organizations.

The Company also announced its promotion of several key members within the operations organization. Keith Jason, who was performing Business Development in Northern Georgia, will now serve as Director of Operations. Additionally, team members Angel Granados and Andy Emfinger have both been promoted to Operations Managers and will be coordinating and managing crews in the field throughout the entire territory.

URETEK Holdings is also broadening its established business relationship with The Carol Group, a woman-owned engineering group focused on water and soil structural support, led by former South Florida Water Management Director and business woman Carol Howard. The Carol Group operates as a technical advisor across the entire URETEK Holdings’ territory, helping to develop URETEK Holdings’ relationships with the US Army Corps of Engineers and other federal markets. The Carol Group will now provide engineering support to URETEK as future projects relate to their areas of experience and expertise and will work with them in the development of exciting new applications of URETEK products.
